You may have missed it over the weekend but turns out a 'Jurassic World' short was shot right here in Ireland.

Colin Trevorrow, who helmed 2015's box office smash 'Jurassic World' and penned its sequel, directed the short movie. He wrote it with Emily Carmichael ('Pacific Rim: Uprising'), who is co-writing 'Jurassic World 3'.

“We shot it in Ireland last winter. They have a grove of redwood trees outside Dublin that look exactly like the national parks in Northern California,” Trevorrow told Collider of the short film. “I honestly never thought we’d make it this far without getting found out. The Irish can keep a secret.”

'Jurassic World: Battle at Big Rock' is the name of the eight-minute short. It portrays a family’s camping trip to Big Rock National Park and their terrifying encounter with dinosaurs.

The events of the film take place between 'Fallen Kingdom' and 2021’s threequel.

Natalie Martinez and Andre Holland play the leads.
