Sean William Scott is back to throw down once again in 'Goon: Last of the Enforcers'.
The original 'Goon' was underappreciated and under-performed at the box office when it was first released but, thanks to a cult following and second life on streaming, a sequel to the 2012 sports comedy is on the way.
Scott and most of the original cast are returning for the film but it's one of those times where we're not sure it's really necessary. Was the first one great? Definitely. Does that world deserve a revisit and another movie that may not live up to the original? Not really.
It feels very 'Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blue' to us.
Still, nice to see Scott getting some work.
'Goon: Last of the Enforcers' is set for release in Irish cinemas on September 1st.
