Zach Braff! That cute kid whose name we can't remember that's the new Chloe Grace-Moretz! Inigo Montoya! Kate Hudson! Olaf the Snowman from Frozen! That was just a sample of our reactions to the first trailer to Braff's Kickstarter-ed follow up to Garden State, the soon-ish to be released Wish I Was Here.

Braff's Kickstart-funded indie film debuted at Sundance back in January, coming a whole decade after his directorial debut with Garden State back in 2004, and tells the story of a struggling actor, father and husband trying to find happiness, identity and purpose in his life as he reaches 35. And that's pretty much all we can tell from the trailer, which is about as indie as you can get what with it's lovely filters and quirky mix of imagery all set to a song by The Shins.

Also starring Joey King, Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Jim Parsons and Ashley Greene, Sundance reviews weren't exactly kind to Wish I Was Here, but Focus Features clearly disagree, having purchased the distribution rights to the film for a cool $2.75 million after it showed at the film festival. And who cares about reviews, Turk and JD are reuniting on the big screen!

Wish I Was Here is scheduled to hit cinemas this July.
