Although it's had a tumultuous journey to the screen, it looks like Steve Jobs will be gearing up for a strong Oscar campaign.

Fassbender plays Apple's very own megalomaniac, Steve Jobs, and is set through three distinctive time periods in his career. With a script by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle, Jobs focuses as much on the hysteria surrounding him and the fact that, well, he wasn't a very nice person.

There's also a great supporting cast on show, with Seth Rogen playing the real brains behind Apple, Steve Wozniak, and Jeff Daniels as corporate executive John Sculley whilst Kate Winslet plays the only person to stand up to Jobs', Joanna Hoffman. As you'd expect from an Aaron Sorkin script, there's plenty of rich dialogue all over the place and lots of five-minute monologues.
