Meryl Streep dressed as Joan Jett? Yes, we're in already.
Playing a one-time rock superstar who's now firmly on the downward trend of her career, Streep has to reunite with her estranged daughter (actual real-life daughter Mamie Gummer) and her ex-husband, Kevin Kline.
Her daughter's relationship has fallen apart, whilst her sons have effectively disowned the mother and moved on with their lives.
Directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Diablo Cody, it's basically one last shot at redemption for her and an attempt to mend the fences with her children.
Keep an eye out for actual rock legend Rick Springfield of Jessie Girl's fame playing one of Streep's backing band.
Ricki & The Flash is expected in Irish cinemas in late 2015.
