Magic Mike XXL is in that category of film that will do extremely well with one particular section of the cinematic audience and received ashen-faced reviews from almost everyone else.
That said, the first one - though on the surface just a film about male strippers - had an interesting dramatic and emotional core.
There was also a scene with a dick pump that went on for about five and a half minutes.
In any case, Magic Mike did extremely well at the box office and sure enough, Mr. Tatum got to work on another script.
Magic Mike XXL will see new castmembers Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith and Andie MacDowell joining the fun with Channing Tatum set to return in some on-screen capacity.
