We say teaser, it's basically a trailer for a trailer.

Yes, those are things now and yes, we absolutely hate them. Nevertheless, it's the first piece of moving footage we've seen on Ghostbusters since the whole thing kicked off and it has us EXTREMELY excited. The full trailer debuts on March 3rd, which is three weeks away, with the film itself landing on July 15th, 2016.

Interesting to note that there's basically no humour whatsoever, rather they're focusing on the blockbuster nature of it all. It might simply be a case of Paul Feig wanting to hold back as much as he can until the actual trailer, but it's pretty odd there isn't even a whiff of comedy here.
