Yes, we thought this as well and so did the folks at Honest Trailers, who have given Guardians of the Galaxy the once-over.
To be fair, they do admit from the outset that they enjoyed Guardians as much as we did - and that they're reaching when they pull it apart.
However, they're not too long at it before they're brilliantly cleaving the film in two with their insightful take.
Yes, we too did not fully understand while all the blue aliens weren't working together. AND that whole gem-stone thing didn't make a lick of sense either.
Still, we loved Guardians of the Galaxy. And it even made it into our Top 10 of 2014, so it did.
