Over the last year or two there's been more and more live screenings of gigs via Satellite to cinemes throughout the country, but particularly the Movies@ cinemas in Swords and Dundrum.

On top of an impressive selection of classical events, these two cinemas have also lined up screenings of performances by massive rock acts Green Day and Bon Jovi for the month of November.

Recorded by MTV at the OlympiaHalle Munich, Germany during the band's amazing 21st Century Breakdown tour, GREEN DAY – 21ST CENTURY BREAKDOWN presents Green Day in all their glory on the big screen, in high definition digital cinema and with surround sound audio. Featuring all the hits including 21st Century Breakdown, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, When I Come Around and American Idiot and many more. Catch all the energy and all the madness up close and personal on the big screen for one night only on Monday November 15th at 9.30pm in both Dundrum and Swords.

Bon Jovi, currently in the midst of their biggest tour yet, will be on the road, performing 135 shows in 30 countries well into 2011, including a newly announced date at Dublin's RDS on June 29th. The Circle World Tour followed the release of their 11th studio album, The Circle, which was released November 10, 2009 and promptly sailed into the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The in-theatre event coincides with the November 9th release of Bon Jovi Greatest Hits album, which will transport listeners back in time through Bon Jovi's monster hits of the past and offer a bridge to the future with the debut of several brand new tracks. This special in theatre event was shot during their sold-out run at the New Meadowlands Stadium - the new home of the NY Giants and NY Jets. Bon Jovi's multi-night engagement, including the stadium's inaugural performance on May 26, 2010, was met with 200,000 fans on their home turf. This special one night only 90 minute event is exclusive to movie theatres and captures the magic and energy of these epic nights. You can watch this performance at Movies@Swords and Movies@Dundrum on Thursday November 11th at 9.30pm.
