The 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic Robocop is getting a remake and we've finally got our hands on the first trailer. There's always going to be a bit unease about rebooting such a classic, potentially trampling all over people's nostalgic memories but as far as first looks go, we're liking the look of new RoboCop... new paint job and all.
Set in 2028, OmniCorp is the forerunner in robot technologies supplying drones for military use. In an attempt to expand and push their technologies further they create RoboCop - part-man, part-robot police officer but first they need a man to fuse with the new tech. Enter Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - family and honest to goodness cop who is critically injured in the line of duty. Thus RoboCop is born, but the unethical marriage of man and machine comes with controversy... and ACTION!
