One thing I'll certainly miss about entertainment.ie is the opportunity to sit down, one on one, with some of the most talented actors on the planet. When it came to my final junket, I was never going to do better than man of the moment, Matthew McConaughey. The Texan has been on a steady rise since his rom-com days, having become in more recent years the go to guy for more dense dramatic fare, culminating in Dallas Buyers Club, his most impressive role to date. Another actor who I was also intrigued to meet was McConaughey's co-star, Jared Leto, both of whom are up for Best Actor/Supporting Actor in next months' Oscars for their work on Dallas Buyers Club.

Dallas Buyers Club hits Irish cinemas this Friday and, for all its critical recognition thus far, you cannot miss it. The physical lengths to which McConaughey and Leto went for this story are staggeringly impressive, the movie itself is even more so.

Dallas Buyers Club centres on real-life anti-hero Ron Woodroof as he was confronted with his own mortality after being diagnosed as HIV positive, with only 30 days to live.

Both McConaughey and Leto were a pleasure to speak with, so for now, I'll hand it over to them.
