Which is of course the best possible Bill Murray so consider us already incredibly excited for this.

Murray plays the titular Vincent, the crankiest of cranky old men who befriends the 12-year-old son of his new next-door neighbour played by Melissa McCarthy, showing how the world really works via the medium of gambling, strippers (one of which is Naomi Watts) and drinking. A lot of drinking. Hopefully for the kid though. By the way, this kid? He has the adorable/endearing/intelligent but disadvantaged thing down. We probably have a new Kieran Culkin/Chloe Grace Moretz on our hands. St. Vincent also stars Chris O'Dowd as an Irish priest/teacher, which we're sure was a great stretch for him.

St. Vincent is set for release on October 24th.
