Let's be honest, video games haven't done so well when it comes to getting adapted from the big screen. But as we talked about earlier this year here, it looks like that's all about to turn around. And the first step in this new right direction looks like it could be the adaptation of the crazy popular racing car franchise Need For Speed, which premiered its first trailer last night.

For those not in the know, Need For Speed has had over twenty franchise entries since it started back in 1994, including this November's game Need For Speed: Rivals.

The movie, starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, as well as Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton, and directed by Scott Waugh (Act Of Valor), looks to be taking some tips from the Fast & Furious series, and will be hitting screens in March 2014.
