The programme for this year's Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival (VMDIFF for short) has gone online, with the festival itself going fully online as well.

All movies made available for this year's festival will be available to screen online from March 3rd to March 14th. Among the guests taking part - virtually, of course - this year are Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth for their weepy drama, 'Supernova', with a post-show discussion following the screening. Not only that, we'll have an interview with Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth pretty soon.

Not only that, Steve McQueen - director of 'Shame', 'Small Axe', and 'Widows' - will be taking part in this year's 'In Conversation' event, where McQueen will be taking part in a discussion with screenwriter Mark O'Halloran.

As for movies available as part of this year's VMDIFF, Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet's period romance 'Ammonite' will screen as part of the festival, as will 'Minari' - the hotly-tipped, awards favourite drama starring Steven Yuen. Also on the list is the aforementioned 'Supernova', not to mention Irish black comedy 'Deadly Cuts' closing out this year's festival, and plenty more movies to choose from.

And if all that wasn't enough, the suprise film - the festival institution - is still going ahead this year, with the movie being revealed on March 7th at 6PM. Our guess? We think it's going to be Chloé Zhao's 'Nomadland'.
