John Grisham was once the bar for cinematic incarnations of novels that dealt with the American judicial process, but we haven't heard anything from him in a while. Until now, that is, as the author as flogged the rights to his work The Testament, which will centre on a messy dispute of inheritance. There's no word on a director or cast yet, but other Grisham novel The Associate has also been purchased, with Transformers star Shia LaBeouf attached to star. Seems the man behind The Client, The Firm and A Time to Kill is back on Hollywood's radar.
