The stars have been coming out in spades to pay tribute to Italy's Oscar-winning film producer Dino De Laurentiis who died yesterday after a two-week illness. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger hailed the "genius" who was responsible for his big break into the film industry. "The world has lost a great entrepreneur, genius and salesman today with the passing of Dino De Laurentiss", said the Austrian Oak. "Cinema has lost one of its greats", said Walter Vetroni, founder of the Rome Film Festival. De Laurentiis produced over 500 film throughout his career, working with some of the biggest names in the history of the business, and was nominated for 38 Oscars over a half a century of work. Some of his credits include Barbarella, Serpico, Death Wish, Conan The Barbarian, Manhunter, Army of Darkness, Breakdown and Hannibal Rising.
