Big things seem to be afoot for Mexican actor Danny Trejo. Having spent a considerable part of his career playing bit-part roles in various Robert Rodriguez movies, the former convict landed a lead role in the upcoming Machete. That trend is set to continue with Empire Online today reporting that Trejo is set to star in Tarantula, a film about a brutal biker gang. Trejo will play the leader of the biker gang and Oley Sassone is set to direct a script written by John Kersey. Shooting is set to begin in November.
