A film about some sassy, money hungry strippers called 'Hustlers' is hitting cinemas this year because why the hell not?

The cast is led by Constance Wu, best-known for 'Crazy Rich Asians'. She is joined by musicians Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B in the movie.

Lili Reinhart ('Riverdale'), Keke Palmer, Julia Stiles ('Save the Last Dance'), Mercedes Ruehl, Trace Lysette, Mette Towley, Madeline Brewer and Frank Whaley round out the cast.

The film is inspired by a viral 2016 New York Magazine article titled 'The Hustlers at Scores' written by Jessica Pressler.

'Hustlers' follows "a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients. Their scheme pays off and the women ride a wave of extravagance, living a life of decadence and glamour. But when greed gets the best of them, friendships are threatened and the law starts closing in."

Lorene Scafaria directs and pens the script. She previously wrote and directed 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World'. Scafaria also wrote 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist'.

'Hustlers' hits Irish cinemas in September.
