Today brings forth some interesting rumours and casting news; this one's particularly exciting, if you're a Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise fan.

First up we're hearing via The Hollywood Reporter that Brad Pitt, fresh from his fiftieth birthday just yesterday may be reuniting with fellow Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise on Cruise's next project, Go Like Hell. If you remember 1994's Interview with the Vampire, you'll have high hopes for a project that brings these two together once more.

At the helm of this film you'll find Joseph Kosinski who Cruise recently worked with on Oblivion.

Kosinski will direct this film from an adapted script based on AJ Baime's Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans.

Sure to please all motoring fans, this story follows the rivalry between car giants Ford and Italian brand Ferarri. Cruise, we are told, will take on the role of car designer Carroll Shelby.
