Marley and Me was once again the top dog at the North American box-office, as the surprise yuletide hit coined a further $24 million to take its total to a hugely impressive $106 million. The Jennifer Aniston/Owen Wilson starrer is directed by The Devil Wears Prada helmer David Frankel. Bedtime Stories was in second with $20.3 million, for an notable two week total of $85.3 million. Two other holdovers with A-list casts also stood strong, as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Valkyrie coined $18.4 million and $14 million respectively. 'Button' is the current frontrunner for Oscar success, while Tom Cruise starrer Valkyrie is doing stellar business despite negative early buzz.
