Brought to you by Wildcard Distribution, new Irish flick Life's a Breeze is touted as a feel good 'recession comedy' (God knows we're still knee deep in the sh*t storm that is the Irish economy) about a family struggling to stay afloat and stay together through hard times in Ireland. Unemployed slacker Colm (Pat Shortt), his aging mother Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) and his niece Emma (Kelly Thornton) must overcome their many differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune. Who said Life's A Breeze?

With a tagline like 'This country is Bolloxed', and a stellar cast that includes the likes of Fionnula Flanagan, we're pretty much sold. Here's hoping the movie delivers on that Irish piss-taking sensibility that's gotten us through the past few years with more than a pinch of salt.

Life's a Breeze will premiere at this summer's Galway Film Fleadh and has been scheduled for Irish cinema release on July 19th. At the helm of this movie is Lance Daly whose last outing was international hit Kisses.
