What with the unbridled success that was Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Lucasfilm and Disney are now keen to get the standalone films they've had in the pipeline moving.
First up, as we know, is the long-awaited Han Solo standalone film. We've covered most of the casting already, but let's just run through it again because it's so damn good - Alden Ehrenreich as young Han Solo (PERFECT choice), Donald Glover (!!!) as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Solo's mentor, Garrus Shrike, and you've also got Emilia Clarke in there as well in an unspecified role.
Just to top that off, you've also got the directors of Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street - Phil Lord and Chris Miller - directing it and Screenwriting Legend™ Lawrence Kasdan's script in there as well. Are we hyping this too much? Probably.
Yesterday saw the first day of photography kick off and, continuing the long tradition of weird working titles, Chris Miller posted this image showing off the weird working title for the as-yet untitled Han Solo standalone film.

You're thinking what Red Cup has anything to do with Star Wars or Han Solo, right? You know those red cups you always see in teen parties in films and TV? The actual brand is called Solo Cup. Hence, Red Cup, Solo Cup.
It's a pun. Whatever, who cares.
The untitled Han Solo standalone film is due to hit Irish cinemas on May 25th, 2018.
