That remake of The Raid with The Expendables 3 director Patrick Hughes is still happening, with some rumoured names attached to project which is due to start shooting in early 2015.
According to Variety, Luke Evans, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo and Ethan Hawke are all being mooted for possible roles; but given that original star Iko Uwais is a proper, no bulls*it martial arts expert, unless the film is going in a different, less hand-to-hand combat style direction (which would be a shame) then none of those chaps would be the lead.
If we had to pick both Mackie and Grillo are awesome, though, with the latter shining in Warrior and The Grey recently.
While folk aren't happy that they're remaking the fantastic Indonesian action flick, director Gareth Evans told us he was delighted a remake was happening.
