If you happen to have just under £1,000,000 lying around and you're in the market for a house that features in an international movie franchise, today's your lucky day.

DeVere House, known to the rest of the world as Potter's cottage in Godric's Hollow, is up for sale for £995,000. The house itself comes with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, outbuildings and gardens of 0.39 acres.

The listed property takes it name from the powerful DeVere family, who built up much of the surrounding village of Lavenham and were once the richest family in England after the King. The house was originally known as Oxenford House, and was understood to have been a hunting lodge.

Nowadays, the house is primarily associated with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, as it was the original household of the titular character and featured in a key scene in the franchise.

Here's what it looks like on the inside, incidentally.
