Jason David Frank, the actor who portrayed the green ranger in the Power Rangers TV series has revealed that he was kicked out of the world premiere of the Power Rangers movie.
Frank, who's character Tommy was the original green ranger before going on to become the white ranger, has a small cameo in the new movie. As does Amy Jo Johnson, who was the original pink ranger.
"I'm the guy in the movie theater who wanted to get a reaction shot of the audience reacting to Amy and me when our cameo appeared," says Frank.
It was then that Frank came up against an even greater foe than Rita Repulsa - the theater's security team.
"Right after our cameo appeared, I got escorted out by security because I had a camera in the movie. I didn't see the end of the movie, because security was arguing with me outside and I was trying to tell security, 'That's me in the movie!'
"They said, 'I need your phone!' I'm like, 'You're not getting my phone!'"
Unfortunately for Frank he also ended up missing the film's post credits scene which sees the gang in detention. The teacher calls out the name "Tommy Oliver" with no luck as the camera focuses on an empty desk with a green jacket on it.
