Ignoring the last "spin-off" the Bourne series is amongst the finest in recent cinematic memory. The first Doug Liman directed action film is still incredibly seminal to this day.
For many though, the series really took off when Paul Greengrass was handed the directorial reigns and ran with them. The Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum were huge box office hits and critical darlings. And after saying they wouldn't come back, both Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass will indeed return for a fourth film (in their series), and none other than Tommy Lee Jones will join them.
Julia Stiles will also return, but plot details are being kept under wraps. Which, giving the covert vibes of the flick is fair enough. Ex Machina break out Alicia Vikander is also added.
We can expect a late summer release next year
