Well we've finally gotten our mits on the plot details for The Muppets sequel. As for the title? Well it's going to be called 'The Muppets... Again.' Wonder how many hours spent huddled around a boardroom table it took them to come up with that one, eh?

With the Emmy award winning Ricky Gervais taking centre stage alongside Kermit the Frog, this film sees our favourite furry friends off on a global tour to some of the finest cities in Europe. However, as is to be expected with The Muppets, mayhem lurks around almost every corner. Confronted with an international crime caper headed up by the world's 'number one criminal' - Constantine - who also happens to be the spitting image of Kermit, the lads find themselves embroiled in one helluva messy situation.

"It's great to be back working with the Muppets," says director James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords, Da Ali G Show), "some of them even remember my name occasionally now. As for the movie, it's a tip of the hat to the old-school crime capers of the '60s, but featuring a frog, a pig, a bear and a dog - no panthers, even pink one - along with the usual Muppet-y mix of mayhem, music and laughs."

Commenting on the movie himself, Kermit says: "This movie takes us places we’ve never been before. And trust me - this frog has never seen so much international flavour. I think audiences will eat it up - the entertainment, that is"

The eagerly anticipated film also stars recent Golden Globes host Tina Fey (30 Rock, Mean Girls, Date Night) as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Emmy Award winner Ty Burrell (TV's Modern Family) as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Ray Liotta will also star. Eeek!
