There have been a lot of rumours about the Fox production, mostly centering on the film's young director Josh Trank - who previously helmed Chronicle - and the reported pressures he was under. All of which were denied by the director, the studio and the producers.
The first trailer is a lot darker than you'd expect, especially when compared to the gee-shucks Jessica Alba/Chris Evans starrer from a few years back.
The Fantastic Four are Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell - all awesome - while Toby Kebbell is the resident bad guy.
This could really go either way.
