'The Batman' joins a number of other productions that have been delayed due to the coronavirus.

The latest iteration of Batman sees Robert Pattinson in the role of the Caped Crusader, with Matt Reeves as director.

Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright and Paul Dano also star.

Filming has been put on hold for at least the next two weeks.

The film’s crew was shooting on a sound stage in London since January. They were due to change locations to Liverpool. Warner Bros. advised the production to go on hiatus during the location change.

For now, the June 25, 2021 release date is still set, but it's unclear whether this delay will affect it.

Warner Bros. still have two movies in production - 'The Matrix 4' and 'King Richard'. The former is shooting in Berlin while the latter, which sees Will Smith play the father of Venus and Serena Williams is shooting in Los Angeles. 'King Richard' has experienced production delays, but this is due to bad weather.

COVID-19 has also caused a production delay for 'Jurassic World: Dominion.'

Shooting for Marvel's Disney Plus shows 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier', 'Loki' and 'Wandavision' has also been been put on hold due to concerns around the virus.

'The Little Mermaid' and 'Home Alone' remake as well as 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' reboot 'Shrunk' are among the productions that have been halted.

Disney has additionally suspended production on all of its live-action films.

Upcoming movie release dates for films such as 'No Time to Die', 'Mulan' and 'A Quiet Place Part II' among others have also been delayed due to coronavirus.
