Quentin Tarantino has spoken of his next project, after Inglourious Basterds, to Empire, while at the premiere of the film in London: "Well I still want to do a Western, I haven't done a Western yet. I keep flirting about with it, but I haven't done it yet." Apparently, QT wants to do a western, then. But Basterds isn't wowing critics the way he would've liked, and his main funders, The Weinstein Company, really need a hit film before they can start funding everything that comes into his giant head. Granted, Tarantino has made some cracking films, thus earning him the benefit of the doubt, but Death Proof should've been a kick in the arse for him - regarding the auld self indulgence. Looking forward to seeing his latest one, though.
