Xtra-vision are being sound and giving you an amnesty so you can stop looking over your shoulder, Henry Hill style.

No one is getting whacked, people!

The good news is that Ireland's leader in home entertainment is celebrating St. Patrick's Day by announcing its very own "Balance Amnesty". Just launched today and running for two weeks, Xtra-vision are offering customers who are in arrears the chance to wipe the slate clean.

The offer is open to anyone that has accumulated arrears through rentals made between July and December 2013, they will have their Xtra-vision account cleared if they purchase a Bronze, Silver or Gold rental pass in any Xtra-vision store nationwide. They are offering three tiers of rental pass; the Gold Pass, which offers 30 days unlimited movies and games for €20; the Silver Pass, offering 14 days unlimited movies and games for €15; or the Bronze Pass for 7 days unlimited movies and games. Naturally enough various terms and conditions apply, and you can check out the full deal in stores.

If only this offer would have been open for Nicolas Cage, who eventually settled a debt for overdue DVDs in 2012, he might have been able to concentrate a little more on his acting...
