Steven Spielberg has been a little quiet of late on his highly anticipated biopic of Abraham Lincoln, which Daniel Day Lewis is starring in. But 'The Beard' has two films coming out in the next few months - Tin Tin and War Horse - and is on the publicity trail for those, so naturally being quizzed on future projects.

He revealed to The Orlando Sentinel that the Lincoln film will specifically look at the final four months of his life; taking in his landslide re-election, historic second inaugural address, and the passing of the thirteenth amendment (the abolishment of slavery). Lincoln is still held in unrivalled esteem as the greatest and most noble president The United States of America has ever had. His clipping at the hands of John Wilkes Booth at the opera will also be featured strongly.

As well as Day Lewis, the film will feature the ridiculously illustrious likes of Tommy Lee Jones, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Tim Blake Nelson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and James Spader. Other roles are yet to be filled and the film will come out after the 2012 election.
