If you've been following our predictions for Oscars 2013, you'll know that Foxcatcher featured quite prominently in them. Well, looks like we'll need to amend that list as Foxcatcher is being pushed back to 2014 and is effectively out of the Oscars race for this year.

Director Bennett Miller - who previously directed Brad Pitt-starrer Moneyball - has said that he needs more time to get the film right. We can't argue with that, really. It's better that they're taking the time to make a better film than rush it out for the Oscars and have it lose and come up short at the box office. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Based on the true story of Olympic wrestlers Mark and Dave Schultz (Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo), it follows their intense and damaging relationship with eccentric billionaire John DuPont, played by a barely-recognisable Steve Carrell, and the mysterious and grisly events that transpired during that time.

Had this not happened, we would have bet good money on Carrell getting a Best Actor nomination and maybe even winning in his category, too. Alas, it's not to be.
