Daniel Radcliffe is no dummy. He starred as the lead role in the six series film franchise of Harry Potter and earned roughly $81 million by doing so, not to mention global fame and access to most jobs he could point his wizard stick at. Franchises, he has learned, are not such a bad thing really.

Speaking to Time Out London, the actor said he would definitely consider doing another franchise film if the opportunity arose. Before all Harry Potter zealots start fainting, he did add that he would be reluctant to ever star again in the Rowling franchise. Even still, something as big as Star Wars would allure the young actor in, with Radcliffe confessing 'Star Wars would be awesome. That'd be crazy cool.' He is a self-confessed nerd let's keep in mind, so a George Lucas film set should be his mecca.

The acclaimed actor continued to say 'Franchise mustn't become a dirty word. If directors like JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon keep doing what they're doing, it won't be.' Giving hope to the determined Potter fans out there, he added 'I'd never totally close the door [on Harry Potter]. But no more schoolboy stuff. A cameo as Harry's dad? That would be perfect!' Either as Potter or a Jedi, we are envisioning Radcliffe in a cloak somewhere down the line.
