Special Effects guru Stan Winston has died after an elongated struggle with multiple myeloma. Winston was widely regarded as one of the most innovative and ingenious artists to ever grace the movie industry, having worked on the likes of The Terminator films, Jurassic Park, Aliens, Predator and The Thing. Steven Spielberg said "Stan was a fearless and courageous artist/inventor" while Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger released a statement saying "The entertainment industry has lost a genius". He was 62 years of age.
