If you haven't heard already, Sharknado is back! 'Sharknado 2: The Second One' is set to be bigger, badder and with more sharks in the tornado. What a strange sentence.

The sequel to the the best worst movie you've ever seen is going to be set in New York, where the man-eating Sharknado will tear the Big Apple a new one, wreaking havoc on the city's most famous sites. Tara Reid and Ian Zeiring, stars of the original Sharknado, will return in leading roles as April and Fin, the couple who will attempt to tame the freakish force of nature. Again. I'd say they're sick to their back teeth from fighting Sharknados at this stage.

"Sharknado was an extraordinary 'perfect storm' which captured the attention of movie fans across the globe. You couldn't go anywhere without hearing about Sharknado! By reassembling the creative team -- and dropping sharks onto New York's iconic sites -- we're unleashing yet another 'fin' wave of shark-mania," said the Syfy boss,Thomas Vitale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Anthony Ferrante will be back in the director's chair with Thunder Levin (an apt name), the writer of the first movie, returning as scribe.

We can't be certain that 'Sharknado 2: The Second One' is going to be any good or not, but, in all fairness, who cares? It's a feckin' Sharknado, for god's sake. We can't wait.
