Shane Black has a new movie incoming called The Nice Guys that's supposed to be peak Shane Black and thus all sorts of deadly. Every clip from that Russell Crowe/Ryan Gosling starrer so far has us incredibly excited about it.
But he's also heavily into pre-production on the Predator reboot - titled 'The Predator'; so much so that production is now a go for early Winter for a 2018 release.
While details are scarce, it will be Black's fourth film as a director after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3 and The Nice Guys; he's also written the script with Fred Dekker - who directed 80s classic, The Monster Squad.
For those that don't know, Black was actually in the original Predator movie, and wrote Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout and The Long Kiss Goodnight back in the day.
There's no word on cast yet, but there had been rumours that Arnie would return - it will be set in the present day.
He's awesome, basically and if Predator doesn't turn out fantastic then we'll consume our headwear.
