Even since Jon Favreau dropped out of the Iron Man franchise, film websites has been trading rumours as to who will replace him in the director's chair. Well, the news is good according to Deadline Hollywood. Shane Black, writer of Lethal Weapon and writer/director of the excellent Kiss Kiss Bang Bang will call the shots on the third Iron Man movie. Black will reunite with KKBB star Robert Downey Jr., which we can promise is a good thing - given the excellent performance that Black got from him that last time they worked together. Oddly, Black, known as one of the best screenwriters in Hollywood isn't attached to write the script as of yet. He will most likely have to clear several hurdles with Marvel before they allow the famously cuss-heavy scribe full access to their character.
