Although a reboot of 'Scream' was inevitable, given how there is nothing new or original under the sun, the return of some of the cast was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Deadline confirmed late last night that none other than Gale Weathers herself, Courteney Cox, is set to reprise her role in the upcoming reboot / relaunch, but this, in turn, begs the question - what hairstyle will make the comeback? Will it be the straight-up blonde streaks of the original? Or will the dreaded fringe of 'Scream 3' feature?
This is the real question, horror fans.
genuinely cannot wait to see what truly wild hair choice they give courtney cox in the next Scream movie pic.twitter.com/JbAxNHCulf

Previously, David Arquette was confirmed to reprise his role as Dewey, while the directors of excellent horror-comedy 'Ready Or Not', Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are set to get behind the camera. As well as this, original screenwriter Kevin Williamson will serve as executive producer, though sadly Wes Craven will not be there to see it become a reality.
So far, no release date has been set nor have any further castings been announced, but you've got to imagine that Neve Campbell is hanging by the phone, waiting for it to ring.
