So you may remember a while back I told you about a Hillary Clinton biopic that's in the works? Well things have moved along quite swiftly on this and the powers that be are now at the casting stage.

Who's vying for the main role? Well as it stands it's between Scarlett Johansson (quite the compliment to Hillary, though she did have quite the set of Scar-Jo lips when she was a chung one) and Reese Witherspoon.

The movie, called Rodham, will focus on Mrs Clinton's formative years, through 1974, when she worked as a lawyer in Washington. According to The Independent, Amanda Seyfried is also in the running. Though she inexplicably irritates me, I have to admit she'd probably do a stellar job, especially after seeing her portrayal of Linda Lovelace in the trailer for Lovelace.

Director James Ponsoldt said of the actresses: "They're all wonderful actresses. We're very fortunate that a lot of really great actors are interested in playing these roles. We're in an enviable position... Regardless of people's political affiliation or how they feel about Hillary Clinton, you don't find people who question the quality of her intelligence or her drive. I want a wonderful actress who could embody that."

Who deserves this coveted role? You decide.
