With the sixth film still awaiting release, news that a seventh Saw is heading towards production was hardly earth shattering, anyway. According to Variety, David Hackl (Saw V) is set to return behind the chair to helm the film which Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (Saw 4-6) are writing. I've said it before and I'll say it again; this is the worst horror franchise in the history of cinema. They ran out of ideas after the second film, so then just began to rip-off the first film, which in itself was a rip-off of far superior thrillers. I'm blaming anyone who has paid to see a sequel past the third one for me having to sit through this crap and review it. *wipes sweat from forehead
