The immensely underrated, but incessantly miscast Ryan Reynolds will join Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones in the action flick, Criminal.
According to Variety, Ariel Vromen, who made a splash a couple of years ago directing Michael Shannon in The Iceman, is helming a script by the lads behind classic 90s explosion fest, The Rock, Douglas Cook and David Weisberg.
The film is about a criminal mastermind (apparently Costner), who has the secrets and skills of a dead CIA Agent transferred to his brain. No word on Reynolds role, but he had a huge hit playing a CIA Agent last year opposite Denzel Washington in Safe House. So...
Solid cast, 'Face Off' style silly concept, if this is done right it could be a lot of fun.
Actually, someone just make that f**king Deadpool movie with Reynolds already.
