It's the romantic climax that all Harry Potter fans have been waiting for since they were wee teens (or kids for that matter) and now, with the opening of the Deathly Hallows Part 2 just around the corner, Rupert Grint has revealed that the much anticpiated smooch between his character Ron and Hermoine (Emma Watson) was much better than he expected. Reported by Digital Spy, the 22-year-old stated that though he expected the kiss between his character Ron and Watson's Hermione to be awkward, the experience was actually "fine", according to an interview with Attitude.

"The kissing scene... was actually fine," Grint said. "It seemed like the most unnatural thing to do, to kiss this person I'd known since she was nine. It took a while to get into it and put our friendship aside." Dishing the deets on their passionate embrace he said "It's quite full-on, a proper snog...we're soaking wet as well - they dumped gallons of water on us and then we just went for it. We laughed a lot and it took us a while to concentrate. We did it about four times."

*Swoon* Maybe they'll pull a K-Stew and R-Pattz on us and get together in real life, what an ending to the Harry Potter extraganza that would be.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 opens in cinemas on July 15.
