Robert Pattinson will no doubt be glad to leave behind his vampire fangs as he finds it extremely frustrating playing a character who's meant to be so damn perfect. What Pattinson most enjoys in movie making is bringing to life the flaws within a character; Edward Cullen, however is portrayed as the ideal being. Except for that whole vampire thing and the daily strife endured when you just can't suck the neck off everyone around you. That sucks.

In a recent Twilight interview, ahead of Breaking Dawn Part 2, Pattinson said "I still had the same frustration with trying to play it, the entire way through, right up until the last shot. It's a strange part because, on one hand, a lot of the audience projects their idea of Edward onto him... It doesn't matter what he is. They want him to be a certain way. And then, my instincts to try to play it were to try to find the fallibility in him and the weaknesses... You're trying to play an archetype on one hand and a character on the other, so I felt insanely frustrated, right up until the last shot, and then it ended."

What's also frustrating for the dreamboat actor is the filming of those sexy but not too sexy sex scenes. Commenting on the intimate moments shared with on and off (pffft) screen girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, he said: "The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous as well. It's just because you're shooting stuff to be PG-13, so you have to think of inventive ways to make something sexy... It's meant to be the greatest vampire sex you've ever had."

But is it, Rob? IS IT?!
