It's rare that we see the likes of Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones teaming up for what seems like a cracker of a film, but Luc Besson's latest offering is about to change all that.

The first trailer for upcoming film The Family, which just so happens to have Martin Scorcese as an executive producer, had just dropped and it looks pretty awesome, if we do say so ourselves. De Niro stars as a former mobster who is on the run from his mafia family. Y'see, he kind of went and sold the lot of them to the feds, so they're pretty much determined to make him pay, and it's up to Tommy Lee Jones to relocate them. Capiche?

We're particularly excited to see Glee's Diana Agron back in action for this one. She plays De Niro and Pfeiffer's rather feisty daughter, while John D'Leo of The Wrestler fame plays their crafty son.The pair aren't too thrilled to have to move to France with mammy and daddy, so they cause a bit of mayhem. And can we just say, Michelle Pfeiffer is looking fantastic, and makes a pretty kick ass mob wife to boot.

Inspired by Tonino Benacquista's novel 'Malavita', The Family is one of those movies we will definitely be checking out this year. Catch it in the US on September 20, or see it in Irish cinemas from November 8th.
