Nine and Chicago helmer Rob Marshall has been revealed by Disney CEO Bob Iger as the man who will helm the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film, On Stranger Tides. The production is set to shoot in Hawaii just summer, for a tent pole release in 2011.

Jerry Bruckheimer spewed: "we've always sought out the most extraordinary and exotic locations for the Pirates Of The Caribbean films and previously shot briefly on both Maui and Moloka'i for At World's End." Then adding before flashing that big white Hollywood smile, "Hawaii provides an amazing range of both land and seascapes, and we're delighted to return for On Stranger Tides."

Needless to say nothing is known about the plot, but having seen the two sequels, that isn't really anything new. Johnny Depp is definitely returning, but Orlando Bloom and his amazingly expressive forehead will have to peddle their wears somewhere else.
