Ryan Reynolds is attempting to fit the CIA thriller, Safe House, into his already packed schedule, according to Deadline.com, via Empire.

He would star opposite Denzel Washington in the flick, about a low level CIA employee who must keep Washington's nasty criminal alive, after they are among the few survivors of an attack on CIA headquarters. In demand Swedish director, Daniel Espinosa (Snabba Cash) is calling the shots, from a script by US Weekly magazine editor, David Guggenheim.

Reynolds has Buried due for release next month, is currently shooting The Green Lantern, and has also to find a spot for Marvel adaptation Deadpool - which Robert Rodriguez has apparently agreed to direct. I've been a fan since his Two Guys and a Girl days, so it's good to him find the superstardom his talent deserved.
