Keanu Reeves is in talks to replace Clive Owen in the drama Cartagena. Owen had been attached for some time in the role of an undercover operative in Columbia, who gets caught up in all that shooting and snorting malarkey. When his cover is blown, he must leg it out of the country, evading gun-toting smack smugglers before he gets clipped. Sounds like the type of role Owen has played too many times before, so we can see why he bounced - if that was the reason why, that is. Still, if they bag Reeves for the part, at least they've gotten themselves a genuine box-office draw, if nowhere near as capable leading man.
