Spiderman director Sam Raimi has attached himself to yet another project. The much sought after helmer is currently shooting horror film Drag Me To Hell, while he has signed on to reboot the Jack Ryan franchise and is still in contention to call the shots on a fourth Spiderman film. He’ll develop the Denis Lehane novel The Given Day, which is set in Boston in 1919, when soldiers brought back a dose of Spanish influenza. Lehane has previously penned the novels Gone Baby Gone, Mystic River and Shutter Island; all of which have been turned into films with starry casts.
