Disney's first hand-drawn cartoon in ages, The Princess and the Frog, topped the American box-office this passing weekend, with a solid $25 million.

The Mouse House have been heavily pushing the traditional animation format since John Lassiter moved over from Pixar, and 'Princess' is their first foray back into it since 2004's Home on the Range.

Elsewhere, the Clint Eastwood directed Invictus coined a so-so $9.1 million, despite the presence of Matt Damon. Eastwood's films generally have long legs, though, and many expect that one to follow suit.
